The world premiere of Silence, Night & Dreams took place in Athens on 4th September 2007 in the historic amphitheatre of the Odeon of Herodes Atticus on the Acropolis. Zbigniew Preisner conducted the Contemporary Music Orchestra of ERT (Greek Radio and Television), the Chorus of Athens University (director, Nikos Maliaras) with singers Teresa Salgueiro and Thomas Cully and a group of Polish, Swedish and English instrumental soloists. The second part of the Athens concert was conducted by Andreas Pilarinos and featured a suite of Preisner's film scores including the themes from La Double Vie de Veronique and Three Colours Blue.

The UK premiere of Silence, Night & Dreams took place on Sunday 2nd December 2007 at the Barbican Concert Hall in London. The concert featured the principal soloists with the London Symphony Orchestra and the Crouch End Festival Chorus under the baton of Preisner; the suite of film music in the second part of the concert was conducted by Kriss Russman.This concert was part of the Barbican's Only Connect series.

The Polish premiere of Silence, Night & Dreams took place on Monday 10th December 2007 at Plock Cathedral, Stary Rynek in Plock. This concert featured the principal soloists with the Polish Radio Orchestra and the Polish Radio Choir (Krakow) under the baton of Preisner; the suite of film music in the second part of the concert was conducted by Lukasz Borowicz.

The French premiere of Silence, Night & Dreams took place on Wednesday 19th March 2008 at Le Grand Rex in Paris. The concert featured Teresa Salgueiro and the principal soloists with Orchestra Colonne and the chorus Carpe Diem under the baton of Preisner; the suite of film music in the second part of the concert was conducted by Kriss Russman. This concert was produced by Gilles Hugo of Silence!.

The most recent performance of Silence, Night & Dreams took place in Thessaloniki, Greece, on 10th September 2008 in the Theatro Ghis. Zbigniew Preisner conducted the Symphonic Orchestra of the Municipality of Volos and the Mixed Choir of Thessaloniki (director, Mary Konstantinidou). The suite of film music in the second part of the concert was conducted by Ioakeim Baltsavias. The concert was promoted by Intershow as part of the series 43 Dimitria.
