Preisner's Voices

Sony Poland has released Preisner's Voices, a new 3-CD album comprising two new compilation albums: Preisner-Towarnicka - featuring film and concert music composed by Zbigniew Preisner for the unique voice of soprano Elzbieta Towarnicka; and Voices - featuring fifteen songs composed by Zbigniew Preisner, sung by Grzegorz Turnau, Andrzej Sikorowski, Hanna Banaszak, Anna Szalapak, Manolis Lidakis, Stina Nordenstam and Teresa Salgueiro, plus Cliff Richard's English cover version of Koleda dla nieobecynch and Sarah Brightman singing Winter Light, the song from Agnieszka Holland's film The Secret Garden; plus a bonus album of Preisner's theatre music - Danse Macabre - featuring solos for the cellist Adam Klocek and trumpet-player Mathias Eick and the voices of young countertenors Marcel and Nikodem Legun.
