Agnieszka Holland's version of The Secret Garden, the famous children's story by Frances Hodgson Burnett, creates a world of delight and gothic mystery, with photography by Roger Deakins and a cast that includes Maggie Smith, Irene Jacob and Kate Maberly as the young orphan at the centre of the story.

The soundtrack was originally released in 1993 on Varese Sarabande.
